We had a great stay at Afreeka Beach Hotel. the pool was fantastic and the restaurant served a delicious breakfast. the location was convenient, within walking distance of Las Terranas, and there were always moto-taxis available outside if we didn't feel like walking. the staff went above and beyond during hurricane Fiona, making sure we got safely out of the area. the rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet, more like cabins. the beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful. the beach across the street was stunning and our favorite in the area. the staff were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Breakfast by the pool or on the patio was the perfect way to start the day. We extended our stay because we loved it so much and would definitely return. Cons: Nothing that we didn't like 😊.

I recently stayed at Afreeka Beach for a week-long vacation and had a fantastic experience. The laid back atmosphere of the hostel was exactly what I was looking for. I enjoyed a simple, but satisfying breakfast served by the pool, along with delicious coffee. The location of the hotel, right next to the beach, was absolutely perfect. Being pet-friendly was a major plus for me as well. The hotel had reliable Wi-Fi, which is a rarity in the Dominican Republic. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.
I totally recommend this hotel.

The property exceeded expectations, larger and more beautiful than in pictures. Convenient beachfront location with friendly staff and clean facilities. Great service by bartender. Changed room promptly upon request. Map misleading, not exactly on the beach. a pleasant place.

We had an amazing stay at Afreeka Beach. The location is unbeatable, right on the waterfront with a gorgeous beach just steps away. The beach itself is stunning, with crystal clear blue water, palm trees, and yellow sand. There are also plenty of restaurants on the beach with delicious food. The hotel has a clean and decent-sized pool, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, AC, and a balcony. The staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere feels like a little resort. We would definitely come back.
No issues at all! 😊

Best aspects of my xmas stay were the wonderful beach hostel and the great value for money. The staff and other guests were amazing company, both for relaxing by the pool and beach, as well as for going out to the nearby bars. I loved the lively atmosphere and the opportunity to make new friends. Plus, the fact that the hotel was close to the beach was a huge plus, allowing me to easily enjoy the beautiful sandy shores.
The simple and tired-looking rooms. The beds were also worn out and not very comfortable.

I recently stayed at Afreeka Beach for a relaxing beach getaway. The location was perfect, right next to a stunning beach. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, even driving me to the bus station when I couldn't find a motoconcho. The breakfast was fresh and well worth the $3 extra. The pool area and garden were beautiful and added to the overall charm of the hotel. The mellow vibe allowed for easy conversation with other travelers, and it was just a short walk to nearby restaurants, dancing, and more. I would definitely stay at Afreeka Beach again, as it offers great value for money.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The beach access was perfect, with lounge chairs and a bar nearby where you could relax in the sun and enjoy a drink. the atmosphere in the evenings was great, with people hanging out at the bar and creating a relaxed vibe. the location was also very convenient, with easy access to the town and its amenities.
The room was quite disappointing. There was no window to open for fresh air, which made the room feel stuffy and lacking oxygen.
